Issue 14: Let me (re)introduce myself...
What I do, and why I do it
Hello! Welcome to my newsletter.
The purpose of this newsletter is to share with you how I handle every day life with ADHD, but without ADHD medication. I will share tips, tools and strategies for you to introduce in to your own life so you too can manage your ADHD.

I’m very aware that I have quite a few new subscribers, so I figured now is a great time to properly (re)introduce myself, share a bit about what I do, and most importantly… why I do it.
I’m Carly, a late-diagnosed ADHDer who spent two years on medication before making the decision to take a more holistic approach. Meds can be life-changing for some, and I completely believe that the option to take them is completely personal.
But for me, sure they were a quick fix at the start, but it wasn’t long before they just weren’t working as well as they first did. Plus I had a long list of, extreme, side effects (headaches, irritability, weight gain, increased anxiety….) and when I started working with an ADHD coach myself, I soon realised they just weren’t worth it.
That’s when I found cold water therapy, and (I mean it with every ounce of my being) it completely changed my life.

It helped me regulate my emotions, sharpen my focus, reduced my brain fog and even improved my sleep. The more I leaned into holistic strategies, the more I realised how powerful they could be for managing ADHD.
And that’s what led me here…
What I Do
🔹 1:1 ADHD Coaching – My coaching framework has a holistic approach, and works from four main pillars (Cold Water Therapy, meditation, diet, lifestyle). I offer both in person and online sessions.
🔹 Cold Water Therapy Practitioner – Offering guided cold water experiences to help with emotional regulation, resilience, and focus.
🔹 ADHD Coaching & Cold Water combined – Bringing the two together, because the benefits are too good to ignore.
🔹 ADHD Retreats – Adventure and connection in the stunning Peak District. Featuring wild swimming, ADHD-friendly meditation, breathwork, and deep conversations on managing ADHD without medication.
🔹 Cold Water Experience Workshops – (More news on these coming soon… 👀)
Why I Do It
Because I want people to know there are options. Meds work for some (and that’s great!), but for others, they don’t. If you’re looking for alternative ways to manage your ADHD, I’ve been there, and I can help.
And honestly? I just love shouting about cold water therapy. The benefits are wild, and I want as many people as possible to experience it for themselves.
So, that’s me! I’m so glad you’re here. And if any of this resonates, stick around, there’s so much more to come. 💙

See you next week!
